Packaging illustration for tequila brand ALBA by Socialsmiths in New Zealand. Inspired by Mexico’s cultural heritage “Día de los Muertos”, the intention was to borrow not only the graphic elements and symbolism, but also the core of the festivity which is to celebrate and remember our loved ones. In this case, the team wanted to introduce this tradition to New Zealand with a twist… don’t wait until they’re gone, but instead to say it while they're here.
